Come and celebrate World Day of Prayer 2008 with other young people!
The World Day of Prayer is celebrated in 170 countries around the world. This year the prayer has been prepared by the South American country of Guyana.
The prayer raises concerns which are faced by the people of this country.
The theme for this year is ... ‘God’s Wisdom Provides New Understanding.’
The MacKillop Young Adult Community (MacYAC) gathers on the First Friday of each month for Faithsharing, Prayer and Dinner.
It’s like a mini–retreat, providing the opportunity to shut out the daily noise and listen to the inner voice.
Where: Mary MacKillop Heritage Centre, 362 Albert Street East Melbourne
When: Friday, 7th March, 2008: 6.30pm onwards

World Youth Day 2008
Mary MacKillop Melbourne hosted Walking the streets with Australia’s First Saint, a week of activities involving participants from Malaysia, East Timor, Colombia, Hungary and Australia as part of the MAGiS World Youth Day program.
